The New York Red Bulls couldn't hold on during last night's match in the Eastern Conference Semifinals of the MLS playoffs.  The Red Bulls went up 1-0 early, but Houston came back to tie things up.  The score was still 1-1 at the end of regulation leading to an extra 30 minutes of overtime.  Houston put one in the back of the net in the first half of overtime.  New York had a lot of good looks, including one off the cross-bar and a stunning bicycle kick by Thierry Henry that just missed wide.  New York was plagued by bad touches, missed connections, and a handful of controversial calls.  Despite the forward momentum of a string of sold-out home crowds and their recent win of the Supporter's Shield, they couldn't hold it together ending overtime down 1-2.

The game was kind of dissapointing from a photo point of view.  We watched a lot of action going down on the other side of the field with a few quick spurts on our end.  A clutch finish scoring on the goal in front of their main supporters side would have been epic, but just didn't happen..until next year!
