After traveling roughly 3,500 miles by highway back and forth between New York City and Canada for four weeks I have to say I'm pretty worn out, but it's been a heck of a ride. I was able to photograph seven matches at the Women's World Cup in both Ottawa and Montreal. Two days after shooting the United States Women's National Team against China in the Women's World Cup Quarterfinals I had the distinct pleasure of shooting the second meeting of the New York City derby match between the New York Red Bulls and NYCFC. More than 48,000 fans packed into Yankee Stadium rooting for both sides. Though the home squad NYCFC went up 1-0 in the first half, the Red Bulls rallied back to win 3-1. I was proud to see one of baseball's most iconic stadiums packed nearly to the brim for a regular season soccer game!
