Now is the summer of our dis-content for Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola. The German champs came to the United States on a two game tour, first a friendly against Club Deportivo Guadalajara (Chivas) at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, NJ, followed by a game in Portland against the MLS All-Stars. While Bayern was able to subdue Chivas, the win didn't come without a lot of hacking and clawing at ankles and knees. No one told either team that the game was a friendly, and several skirmishes broke out throughout the game. Manager Guardiola was even more animated as the stars of the MLS, all currently mid-way into their season, came at his team full throttle toppling the German giants 2-1. US National teamer Julian Green watched from the sidelines for the Chivas match, but was able to see action in Portland against the All-Stars.
