Germany Still Looking Fierce: GER v SWE

Germany looked fierce yesterday toppling fellow European opponents Sweden 4-1 at in the Round of 16 at Lansdowne Stadium in Ottawa, Ontario Canada.  I can't help but think about how unsettled the United States looked in their tie with Sweden in the group stages and what that could mean further down the line should the US and German teams play.  The United States has a way of pulling out underdog wins, but the Germans are looking cool and composed, winning with skill rather than a hope and heart.

Between my four cameras I was able to get a variety of different shots.  I had a remote with a wide-angle firing behind the goal, with another remote clamped to the light-board close to the left corner flag, then my two bodies as I set near where the 18-yard box hits the endline.  Hope you like!

Germany looks to dominate. Period.

Just about everything that could go wrong did the week before heading off to Canada for Women's World Cup 2015, but in the end I was extremely delighted to get my credentials and make it down to the field for my first World Cup.  Both matches in Ottawa were won in convincing fashion with Norway defeating Thailand 4-0, and Germany taking the Ivory Coast with a whopping 10-0.  This weekend I'm excited to be in Montreal for Brazil v Spain and Korea v Costa Rica.  Here are some matches from the Germany, Ivory Coast goal fest.  Enjoy!
